Abstract
(English)
The Phebus-FP Programme comprises 6 integral experiments on reactor severe accidents dealing with fuel degradation, fission product release, transport and behaviour in the containment. The aim of the Project is to perform an International Standard Problem, following the OECD/NEA methodology, on the second Phebus-FP test, FPT-1, performed in July 1996. The ultimate goal of such an exercise is to provide insight on the applicability of severe accident codes to real situations, by benchmarking them on an integral experiment, closer to real situation than any experiment performed so far. In addition, the Project will help the dissemination of the knowledge acquired by the Phebus-FP Programme throughout the European (and international) community.
