Nachhaltiges Bauen wird heute, obwohl es eine gesamtheitliche Aufgabe darstellt, noch immer stark mit ökologischem Bauen gleichgesetzt. Deshalb wird bei der Erarbeitung der sia-Norm die Bedeutung der drei Nachhaltigkeitsbereiche Umwelt, Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft ausgewogen dargestellt.

The term of sustainable construction still is strongly equated with the one of ecological construction, although the task has to be tackled in its totality. Thus the significance of the three sectors of sustainability (environment, economy, society) will be presented in a balanced way when the SIA standard is developed.
