Abstract
(English)
AD-Nett II is a continuation of a first Network program, which lasted from 1997-1999. After an intermediate year the follow-up program AD-Nett II could be started in Summer 2001. Despite the fact that officially no project was active in 2000, the members of the first AD-Nett programme maintained at least a minimal information transfer.
The Swiss member is responsible for the creation, edition and distribution of a news magazine (WP 9) together with the German member.

The magazine, which is entitled 'Global Biogas' will treat topics on the digestion of agricultural and source separated household waste including co-digestion in farm and sewage sludge digesters.

A first issue appeared in Mai 2002 and can be ordered from the Swiss participant.

In Miranda da Corvo, Portugal a two-day workshop was held alongside the group meeting at the Biomass Centre of Portugal. Even though the centre is way out in country side the seminar could attract 85 participants from all over Portugal including engineers, Universities, power companies, administration and even a few politicians. The proceedings were published and will serve as a good backup of the oral presentations. The Swiss contribution dealt with the 'Upgrading of biogas to grid quality'.
