Résumé des résultats (Abstract)
(Anglais)
The project successfully developed a technological demonstrator and worked with a rich set of data provided by partners. The system can be used both by professional (librarians, archivists) and non-professional users. The system can also be linked into existing online Search and Retrieval services; this was demonstrated by linking into the distributed network of OPACs that provides information about modern manuscripts and letters, MALVINE.
The model architecture is intended to be applicable to other kinds of cultural/scientific objects and data, ensuring through the use of authority file information that the representation of the objects in question is one of high quality. During the course of the project there has been regular liaison with international stakeholders and standards bodies. This has been endorsed by extensive dissemination and concertation activities
Mise en oeuvre et application
