Abstract
(English)
The third reporting period includes the end of the conception work package and the beginning of the development work package.
In this reporting period, the conceptual phase of PRESERVE has been finished and the implementation of solutions was driven forward.
In detail, a new version of the Periodic Progress report 2 was created, taking into account the expert's suggestions. A new chapter about the concrete approach for the next reporting period has been added. Equally, the Co-operation model D2.1 has been totally re-written due to the expert's propositions. It contains now the selection of the processes to re-engineer, the identification of key factors for re-engineering, a reference to the SWOT-analysis which is used to figure out the requirements towards Service organisation, a description of best practises found in the benchmark study, a description of critical processes and flows and a identification of the priorities of the above mentioned items. The processes have been described using two consistent levels of detail in the methodologies. Detailed measurements and targets for indicative figures created in D2.4 are set.
The specification of the PRESERVE software (D2.2) has been written as draft and final version according to international standards. A major step was the accomplishment of the concept for integrated knowledge management, which consists of a strongly scientifically founded theoretical part (about one half of the deliverable) where knowledge management methods are created and the application of this methods in the PRESERVE case in the practical part (the other half of the deliverable). Also, the controlling system (D2.4) has been set up, where indicative figures for the whole PRESERVE system are created and explained. Moreover, a system for the automatic visualisation of complex data has been developed. The deliverable contains, among other things a complete list of the PRESERVE production parameters with explanation and nature.
The third dissemination and use plan has also been set up which enriches the argumentation of the second one with statistical data and real-word figures.
