Abstract
(English)
Today there is a lack of easy to use, rapid & reliable tools able to characterise test and smell of industrial products dedicated to human consumption. Human sensory panels: it is highly expensive, time-consuming & suffers from lack of objectivity and reproducibility. Existing gas sensors arrays or 'electronic noses ': due to poor diversity in sensors materials existing gas sensors are non-selective, and only the gas phase of products is analysed. The project aims to develop innovative functional materials and associated technologies to design liquid sensors array and a new generation of gas sensors array with improved selectivity and sensitivity. Combination of liquid sensors array and new generation of gas sensors array will allow measurements of a sample in liquid and gas phases. Thus cross-sensitive liquid and gas-sensor arrays will enable a complete, fast and reliable analysis of a product in terms of taste& smell.
