Im Rahmen der Beratungen von AP2002 hat das Parlament beschlossen, die Unterstützung der Verwertung der Schafwolle schrittweise zu reduzieren und dann vollständig zu streichen. Es bestehen nun Befürchtungen, dass die inländische Wolle ohne staatliche Unterstützung nicht mehr verwertet wird und die Entsorgung der Wolle zu einem Problem werden könnte.

In consideration of AP2002, the parliament has decided to reduce the support of utilization of sheep wool gradually and finally to cut it. It is to be feared that domestic wool without governmental support will no longer be utilized and that the disposal of the wool could cause problems

In dieser Stundie gehte es darum, herauszufinden, was mit der Wolle geschieht, welche nicht mehr an die Inlandwollzentrale abgeliefert wird. Die Verwertungswege sollen herausgefunden und mengenmässig abgeschätzt werden.

The purpose of this survey is to discover what will happen to wool which can no longer be delivered to domestic wool centres. Means of disposal have to be found and the terms of volume have to be evaluated.
