Monitoraggio dell'impianto PV da 100 kWp "AET III" a Riazzino
Schlussbericht
(Englisch)
The AET III 100 kW grid connected PV plant, located in Riazzino, was installed in 1992 by the TNC company on behalf of the Swiss Federal Office of Energy. In 2001 the plant was renovated. The old 100kW converter was substituted by three new converters, 33kW each, and part of the wiring was redone. The renovated PV plant was put into service on November the 30th 2001, then it was acquired by AET and renamed AET III (originally Mark II). This project was intended to precisely monitor for three years the plant behaviour after renovation, by continuous and annual measurements. The data acquisition system was adapted to the new configuration and it was put back into operation at the beginning of the year 2002. The behaviour of the plant has being yet analysed for 3 years: since its renovation the plant has been working properly. Its PR now exceeds 70% (right from 65 W/m2), and it is the best one of the previous years. During three years, the plant produced respectively 95.977 MWh (2002), 115.322 MWh (2003) and 108.492 MWh (2004); the 2003 and 2004 annual productions exceed the limit of 100 MWh/a, data never reached in the 11 previous years of operation (maximal production 98.5 MWh in 1999, average 93.5 MWh). This is due to the favourable meteorological conditions and, in particular, to the excellent new converters performance. The energy yields (for example Yf2003=1’103 kWh/kWp.y) clearly exceed the production estimation of 95-100 MWh. From 1992 up to now the PV plant has produced 1'012,941 MWh, which corresponds to a total inverters operating time of 34’426 hours (31.12.2004). As always observed the eight strings connected to Box 1 produce more than the eight of Box 6. Nevertheless, all the 48 strings work properly. The 26 reference modules have been indoor measured again by the LEEE: their mean maximum power is 106.3 W, therefore the total estimated field power @STC is 91.9 kW. This value is 11.2 % lower than the one declared by the manufacturer. Moreover, another Infra-Red analysis of the entire plant has been carried out: a few hot spots have been found, but many of them have a high temperature (∆T up to +100°C). One module with broken glass was replaced, and incredibly the same module was found broken again after few months. However the plant doesn't show any relevant or serious problem.
