The ARAMIS internet server is a part of the Swiss research information system called ARAMIS. It relates to research and development projects which are sponsored by government. It embraces data which may be of interest to a larger audience, i.e. the worldwide scientific community.

Data providers are about fifty governmental agencies in Switzerland, the Swiss Federal Institutes of Technology in Zurich and Lausanne as well as their related laboratories, the Swiss National Research Foundation, the Swiss Commission for Technology and Innovation and other public institutions.

These original data providers own all intellectual property rights in the information contained within the ARAMIS information system and the ARAMIS internet server, unless otherwise noted.

These providers shall not be held responsible or liable for any damages, however caused, by errors or omissions that may have occurred in the preparation or dissemination of these materials.

The ARAMIS information system is maintained by the Competence Center ARAMIS (CCA) which is located at the State Secretariat for Education and Research.

It is a mayor aim of the CCA to guarantee the timeliness of data and information transmitted by the various data providers. It does, however, not ensure the reliability, topicality, accuracy and completeness of the published data.

The CCA is thus not responsible for the content, for products, for services or any other data on Websites activated by links.

Users may reproduce in any form the information contained in the ARAMIS internet server for personal use. For non-personal purpose, users must obtain prior written permission from the Competence Center ARAMIS to reproduce any information on this server.

As far as any legal relationship is founded between the CCA and any user, it will be subordinated to Swiss law. The jurisdiction location will be Bern.
